The chapter begins with introducing characters such as my Utterson and mr Enfield and they notice a strange door they go in then a girl got stanped on.
Chapter 2: Utterson decides to visit Dr Lanyon, an old friend of his and Dr Jekyll’s. Lanyon has never heard of Hyde, and not seen Jekyll for ten years. That night Utterson has terrible nightmares. Utterson is worried that Hyde may kill Jekyll to benefit from the will.
Chapter 3: dr jekyll hosts a party. Everybody leaves apart from utterson. Jekyll and utterson are pleased to have the chance to speak. Utterson brings up his concerns with jekyll’s will. Jekyll promises utterson that hyde is in his life by choice and he can be rid of him when he chooses. Jekyll makes utterson promise him to give hyde all the money if he dies.
